1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Landaways application ("the App") or visiting our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Landaways is a mobile application designed for general aviation pilots. It provides airfield information, weather data, flight tracking, flight logging, ride sharing, and PPR (Prior Permission Required) request submission through our partner SmartPPR.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use most features of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading airfield reports or reviews
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated systems to scrape data from the App

5. Aviation Disclaimer

Landaways is an informational tool only and is not a substitute for official aviation publications, NOTAMs, or certified flight planning tools.

Weather data (METAR/TAF), airfield information, and other aviation data displayed in the App are provided for reference purposes only. Pilots remain solely responsible for flight planning, pre-flight checks, and all decisions relating to the safety of flight.

Always verify information with official sources before flying. Landaways accepts no liability for decisions made based on data provided through the App.

6. PPR Requests

PPR request submission is facilitated through our partner SmartPPR. Submitting a PPR request through the App does not guarantee approval. You are responsible for confirming PPR status directly with the airfield before departure.

7. Ride Sharing

The ride sharing feature allows pilots to connect and share flights. Landaways acts solely as a platform to facilitate connections between pilots. We are not a party to any agreements made between pilots and accept no liability for arrangements, costs, or incidents arising from shared flights.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and content are owned by Landaways and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our written consent.

9. User-Generated Content

By submitting content to the App (reviews, photos, reports), you grant Landaways a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content within the App. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Landaways shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
